Vertical rectangular-shaped gentleman's wristwatch with subsidiary seconds at 6. Polished two-piece case, with snap-on case-back; "Top Hat" lugs. Silver colour dial with radial applied yellow gold indexes. 9-90 calibre, lever escapement, Glucydur screw-balance and blued steel Breguet hairspring, index regulator with spring and micrometric screw, adjusted to heat, cold isochronism and 5 positions.

Herrenarmbanduhr mit Kleiner Sekunde bei 6-Uhr. Poliertes, zweiteiliges Gehäuse mit Sprungboden und "Top Hat"-Bandanstössen. Silberfarbenes Zifferblatt mit Gelbgold-Indizes. Werk mit Ankerhemmung, Glucydur-Schraubenunruh, gebläuter Breguet-Spirale und Rückerzeiger mit Feder- und Mikrometer-Feinregulierung; Regulierung in 5 Positionen sowie auf Hitze, Kälte und Isochronismus.

The Patek Philippe Reference 1450 is launched in 1950 and remained in production until the early-1960s. The majority in yellow gold, more rarely in rose gold, even more rarely in platinum. Only one is known to-date in in white gold. Around 2 000 examples were produced; some with integrated bracelet. The watch is so-called "Top Hat" or "Cinesino" by collectors.
