Das angebotene Aquarell zeigt in reduzierter Malweise eine Reihe am Strand liegender Boote. Im Hintergrund erkennt man vermutlich die Silhouette der Wallfahrtskirche Notre-Dame de la Garde (La Bonne Mère) in Marseille. Albert Marquet hielt wiederholt Landschaftsausschnitte rund um Marseille auf Gemälden und in Papierarbeiten fest.
