You can take part in our auctions in several ways: in person, by written bid (also online), by phone, or live online. In all cases, please make sure to register in advance with our office or through the respective platform.
If you are bidding with us for the first time, please complete the New Client Form. Attach a copy of a valid government-issued ID. The completed and signed form must reach us no later than 48 hours before the auction by e-mail or post.
If you wish to bid in person, you can obtain a bidder number before the auction begins. Please bring a valid ID (passport or ID card). If this is your first time bidding with us, please fill in the New Client Form upon arrival. All bids are understood exclusive of buyer’s premium and VAT.
Our catalogues are also available on Invaluable and Lot-tissimo, where you can bid live online. Please register on these platforms at least 24 hours before the auction and log in before your desired lot is offered. Important: the default bidding limit for online participation is CHF 10,000 (total for all lots). If you wish to increase this limit, please contact our office at front@dobiaschofsky.com
. Purchases made via Lot-tissimo incur an additional 3 % fee; fees from Invaluable are absorbed by us (Buyers Premium Parity). To watch the auction live without bidding, no registration is required.
You may participate by phone. Register no later than 24 hours before the auction via e-mail or your online account, providing the phone number where we can reach you. We will call you shortly before your chosen lot and place bids in your name in the room. If the connection cannot be established, we recommend placing a written maximum bid. Dobiaschofsky Auctions Ltd. assumes no liability for any connection issues. All bids are exclusive of buyer’s premium and VAT.
If you cannot attend, you can submit a written bid by e-mail, post, or through our website. Please send it no later than 24 hours before the auction. Your bid is treated as a maximum price, and we will bid only as high as necessary to secure the lot.
Registered clients can submit written bids or register for telephone bidding under “My Account” on our website. You can create a wishlist and submit your confirmed bids securely. Ensure that you receive a confirmation e-mail (check spam).
For the blue-labelled catalogue pages, Dobiaschofsky conducts a silent auction with written bids only. These lots are marked with a blue dot during the preview and are listed on our website. Written bids must reach us by midnight on auction Friday by e-mail, post, fax, or personal delivery. The general auction conditions apply.
