Vom vorliegenden Sujet sind zwei zusätzliche, von Aurèle Roberts Bruder Léopold Robert gemalte Varianten bekannt, wovon eine in der Sammlung des Musée des Beaux-Arts in Vevey aufbewahrt wird. Es scheint daher möglich, dass die angebotene Arbeit als Gemeinschaftswerk der beiden Brüder anzusprechen ist.
